Much to my excitement, FedEx left a package for me today. Said package contained my final birthday gift from my lovely wife. Pictured here is my two year old iPod fresh with a new clear coated paint job that matches the MINI. I have to say that this is better than getting a new iPod mini. It took a little longer than I would have liked, mostly I didn't like being without my iPod for three and a half weeks, but the fine folks at Color Ware did a great job. You can go here for larger pics and other angles of the shiny red wonder.
I love it, you are the man :-)

Posted by: timsamoff on April 20, 2004 09:47 AMYou know that no one has ever given you the benefit of a doubt more than I, but this settles it: I officially declare that your obsession has finally reached teen-girl-to-N’Sync magnitude.
And you do have a lovely wife, but she’s an enabler. Seek counseling, both of you.
Posted by: Shepcat on April 20, 2004 12:11 PMCat - awhile back you said it yourself, it’s not an obsession, it’s an enthusiasm. Spirited enthusiasm but enthusiasm none-the-less.
And I gotta say, everyone needs a hobby…
Posted by: Todd on April 20, 2004 02:32 PMdude, you are now officially the ‘king of sofas’…
word.
Posted by: g-rog on April 21, 2004 08:56 AMThunder-boy! You are my hero! red is the best color for mini’s, iPod’s and whole slew of other things. happy listening..
Posted by: sach on April 21, 2004 03:43 PMRog - I’m not sure what “king of sofas” is but I guess it’s better than king of the dip-shits like Anthony Michael Hall in Sixteen Candles…
Posted by: todd on April 21, 2004 10:27 PMWhatever “king of sofas” means, just to be on the safe side, I think you should start slashing prices right away to prove how craaaaazy you are and how you will NOT be undersold.
Posted by: Shepcat on April 22, 2004 12:35 PMTodd, have you seen this?! :)
