Here’s one from a special request. It’s a Paul Smith inspired design. The design incorporates the colors seen in and on the car from the blue top to the orange stitching of the leather seats.

The bonnet stripes are also blue to match the blue convertable top. I really wanted to do the mirror caps in the same striped design but covering the whole cap was like wrapping a flat sheet of paper around a basketball. Ambitious, yes. Successful, no - at least the mirror caps anyway.

May I post one of these pics on my blog?
Posted by: Timmee on June 2, 2006 02:36 AMI wondered if the stripes were large format printing? What is the life expectancy of that stuff? Is it UV coated?
You do nice work.
Posted by: LTZMTOR on June 4, 2006 09:15 AMThe stripes are large format printed with solvent ink and are overlaminated with UV protection. The material is rated as 9 year material and the colors are fade resistant for 5 to 7 years.
