A pictorial review

Here's a MINI pictorial review of what I've been up to the last few weeks.

A couple of weeks ago I painted my intercooler cover on my MINI.

Then I was busy applying Pepper White body color checks to a new MINI.

Then, a friend from Fayetteville, AR brought his new MINI over to get boot stripes.

Finally, three sets of bonnet stripes finished out my week last week.

That's all for now.

Yeah, ‘cause that intercooler’s gonna look great to the three people who ever have an excuse to look under your hood… er, bonnet… DAMN! Now you’ve got me doing it.

Ahh Shepcat, you have no idea what it’s like to own a MINI. Complete strangers frequently ask MINI owners to see under the bonnet. I am deadly serious.

Also, other MINI owners always want to see what mods everyone’s done to their respective cars. I’d say that in the past two and a half weeks, somewhere close to 20 people have seen my engine compartment. No lie. But then again, I get around : )

It’s fanaticism on a par with Saturn owners…

…but I hasten to add that you guys could SO kick their asses if a rumble broke out.

Saturn owners?

Fanatical?

Are you kidding me?

Those cars are made of plastic and I’m pretty sure you can get one if you collect enough Frosted Flakes box tops.

GM marketers may want you to think Saturn owners are fanatical but that’s just advertising bullshit.

Our friend Flavor Flav put it best - Don’t believe the hype.

Todd:

I always enjoy your Mini pics. I have a picture I took of a Mini at a police show in LA of a Mini D.A.R.E. car with a very different paint job. However, I can’t figure how to attach it here for you to see. Any suggestions.
